Completing your profile

  1. In the StatsUserNetwork home page, look for the ‘person’ icon at the top right of the navigation bar
  2. Click on the icon.
  3. Choose 'My profile.'
  4. Once in your profile click on 'Edit profile.' This allows you to complete a series of fields with information that you may wish to share with other users.
  5. Add your first and last names – this could be your real name or a sensible user name.
  6. The next field allows you to upload an optional background image for your profile.
  7. Next you can add an optional profile image, which could be a photo of yourself.
  8. If you are a member of an organisation, the Function and Organisation field gives you the opportunity to highlight who the group is and your role eg ‘ONS Stakeholder Network’ and ‘Member’
  9. The next section ‘Phone number and location’ is purely voluntary. You do not have to include this information.
  10. We recommend completing the Self introduction, Expertise and Interests field as this allows other users to find out more about you and whether you have any shared statistical interests eg ‘ I have been in the organisation for 9 years and am particularly interested in our work on defining boundaries’  ‘I work as an analyst and I have a degree in statistical design’ ‘My interests include regional GDP’
  11. You can also add your expertise eg ‘health statistics’ and your interests eg ‘adult social care’
  12. Once you've done that, click on save.
