Following our last update on transferring posts from the previous version of StatsUserNetwork, we wanted to provide users with a further update on our progress.
We are excited to share the following:
• Archived version of old site: From 1 May, the old site will become ‘static.’ You can still access StatsUserNet via the same URL and explore its topics and attachments. However, interaction with content or creating new posts will no longer be possible, and logging into the old site will not be required.
• Disabling posting on old site: To ensure all conversations take place in one location, we will disable posting on the old site from Friday, 21 March. This change comes as we finalise our archiving solution and transfer all posts from StatsUserNet since October 2024 to this site. We will review the static site’s usage over time to determine how long it remains live, which will be for a period of at least two years. If you wish to remove any content, please do so by the end of this month.
• Improvements on StatsUserNetwork: We are continuously working to enhance StatsUserNetwork. Recently, we launched a new User Engagement group, providing a space for users and producers of official statistics to discuss and develop engagement across the statistical system. You can join the new group here.
Finally, we will be holding additional demonstrations of the new site over the coming months to help users with the transition. You can book onto those here.
